Our under 14s got their championship campaign underway this evening with a trip to take on North Armagh Hurling Club, played in the fantastic Tannaghmore Gardens.
The lads got to work early and established a  nice lead coming into half time, with  some very impressive team play resulting in scores from multiple sources. 
2nd half  was a tighter affair with North Armagh and Craobh Rua trading scores. 
North armagh then hit a purple patch and roared back into the game, picking off some  fantastic goals and points. 
But as the game entered the final quarter, Craobh Rua wrestled back control to see the game out with scores of their own.

A huge failte to Lorcan Ferron, who only joined our panel  last Friday night for the first time .
Training continues this Friday evening again ahead of round  2 at home next Monday night v our Local rivals Killeavy.
