Our under 14s  were on  the  field  tonight to welcome our  visitors from  Castleblaney hurling club  in a hastily arranged challenge match. 
On a wild  blustery evening,  both  teams  put on a fine  display of hurling during  a hard fought  contest. 
The  wind played a major part in the scoring,  but the players adapted well. 
Plenty of skill and team work was evident from both  teams. 
Final score Castleblaney  5 - 12
Craobh Rua    6 - 9

Training for the under 14s takes place again  next Friday evening time and venue TBC .
We have  Keady coming up in Rd 3 of the championship at home  next Monday 11th of August . 
So we hope to see EVERYONE There.
