Our U6s, U8s and U10s took to the field in Páirc Esler and showed great skill, teamwork and determination in a series of brilliant games against Newry Shamrocks, Warrenpoint, Clonduff, Ballavarley, Castlewellan and Clann Mhúrn.
A very special highlight saw our U10 team and management proudly accept the Tony Carr Memorial Cup on behalf of Craobh Rua – a moment of great pride for our club. 🏆
We extend a heartfelt míle buíochas to the Carr family for their support of the event, and to Ronán Sheehan along with his hardworking team at Newry Shamrocks for hosting such a memorable and well-organised event.
Craobh Rua’s association goes back a long time with the Carr family to when Pat Feeley invited his Hurling friend Tony Carr to provide coaching sessions for our very first batch of players. We are so proud of how that work has been built upon to produce the modern day Craobh Rua Camlocha.
Events like these celebrate everything that is special about our game – friendship, community, and the joy of hurling. 🔴⚪
