We would like to sincerely thank everyone who played a part in making yesterday’s Poc Fada such a special and memorable occasion for our club and community.
What we witnessed yesterday was far more than a fundraising event — it was a celebration of community spirit, friendship, teamwork, and pride in our wee club. Seeing so many people come together, enjoying the craic, the laughter, and the brilliant atmosphere was something truly special and a reminder of what Craobh Rua is all about.
A huge thank you to our outstanding fundraising committee, Coiste members, coaches, volunteers, players, and supporters whose hard work and commitment ensured the day ran so successfully. From the organising behind the scenes to the support shown throughout the day, every single contribution mattered and was greatly appreciated.
A special word of thanks to our Chairperson Nicola for her leadership, dedication, and constant commitment to the club. The pride and passion she has for Craobh Rua shines through in everything she does.
Thank you also to all of our fantastic vendors who attended and supported the event. Your contribution helped create such a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for everyone who came along.
A sincere thank you as well to the National Trust for the use of their field for the day, and to Mark & Lorna Weir for the use of their car parking facilities. Support and cooperation like this are hugely important and show the strength of relationships within our wider community.
The recognition and support received from Ulster GAA and Armagh GAA was a proud moment for everyone connected to Craobh Rua and reflects the dedication and hard work that continues within our club every day.
Yesterday showed that Craobh Rua is more than just a club — it is a family and a community that stands together. We have started something very special with the Poc Fada, and hopefully this is only the beginning for years to come.
