As part of our commitment to the GAA Green Clubs Programme, Craobh Rua Camlocha will introduce a new Single-Use Plastic Policy from 1st July 2026.
Nearly 50% of all plastic produced worldwide is single-use, and Ireland has one of the highest rates of plastic waste generated per person in the EU. As a club, we want to play our part in protecting our environment for future generations.
🇮🇩 From 1st July, we are asking all players, coaches, parents, volunteers and supporters to help us eliminate single-use plastic bottles from our grounds.
💧 Please bring a reusable water bottle with you to training, matches and all club events.
Every small change makes a big difference. By working together, we can reduce waste, protect our local environment and help create a more sustainable future for Craobh Rua Camlocha and our community.
