What a day for our U16 hurlers! 🔴⚪️
From the very first puck of the ball, the lads were stuck in deep, showing great hunger, determination and work rate. They took control early and went into the break with a deserved 3-06 to 0-02 lead.
A brilliant second-half performance followed, with the boys continuing to work for each other, playing some excellent hurling and seeing the game out in style to secure a fantastic 5-19 to 0-06 victory. 👏🏆
This achievement is about so much more than the final score.

The time, commitment and dedication you have given this group throughout the year has been incredible. From training sessions and matches to the countless hours of planning, organising, travelling and supporting the players, your hard work behind the scenes has played a huge part in getting these lads to where they are today.
You have not only helped develop them as hurlers, but have encouraged them to work together, believe in themselves and give their best every time they step onto the pitch. Today’s success is a reflection of that commitment. 👏
