Hurling Summer Camp: Participation Waiver & Disclaimer
1. Risk Acknowledgment
I understand that hurling is a high-speed, full-contact sport involving the use of hurls (sticks) and sliotars (balls). By enrolling my child, I acknowledge that there are inherent risks of injury, including but not limited to bruises, cuts, sprains, or fractures.
2. Safety Equipment
I agree to provide my child with a mandatory NSA-approved helmet with a faceguard. I understand that my child will not be permitted to take the field without a helmet and appropriate footwear (boots).
3. Medical Consent
In the event of an emergency, I authorise the camp staff to seek professional medical treatment or administer basic first aid. I have disclosed all relevant medical conditions, allergies, or required medications on the registration form.
4. Physical Fitness
I certify that my child is physically fit to participate in strenuous outdoor activity and does not have any underlying health conditions that would make participation unsafe.
5. Liability Release
I hereby release [Craobh Rua Camlocha, its coaches, and volunteers from any liability for personal injury, loss, or damage to property occurring during the duration of the camp, except in cases of proven gross negligence.
6. Code of Conduct
I understand that any child displaying dangerous or disrespectful behaviour may be asked to leave the camp to ensure the safety of other participants.
7. Photography & Media Consent
Usage Acknowledgment: I understand that Craobh Rua Camlocha may take photographs or video footage of participants during activities for promotional purposes, including social media, websites, and brochures.
No Identifying Data: The camp agrees that images used on public platforms will focus on the activity rather than the individual, and the child's full name will not be published alongside their image without further explicit consent.
Voluntary Consent: Consent is voluntary and can be withdrawn at any time by contacting the Camp Co-ordinator, though this may not apply to materials already in print.

8. Drop-off & Pick-up Procedures
Sign-in Requirement: Parents or guardians must sign their child in and out at the designated registration desk every day.
Authorized Adults: Only individuals listed on the registration form are authorised to collect the child. Any changes to this must be communicated in writing to the Camp Co-Ordinator before pick-up.
Punctuality: I agree to drop off my child no earlier than [Time:9.30am] and collect them promptly by [Time13:30 PM].
Emergency Collection: In the event of extreme weather where the facility cannot provide indoor cover, I agree to collect my child promptly upon being notified by the camp staff.
