Our Primary Schools Hurling and Camogie Programme is now underway, with Fionn Elshaw leading the coaching sessions and receiving valuable support from Daithí Murphy.
The programme aims to introduce and develop hurling and camogie skills among young players across our local schools while promoting participation and enjoyment of our games.
As part of the initiative, we were delighted to provide new hurls, sliotars and helmets to St Malachy’s Primary School, Camlough, St Joseph’s Primary School, Bessbrook, and St Peter’s Primary School, Cloughreagh. These essential resources will help ensure that pupils have access to quality equipment as they learn and develop their skills.
This investment in our schools was made possible through the generosity of those who supported our crowdfunding campaign. Their contribution is helping to strengthen the future of our games by providing opportunities for young people to engage with hurling and camogie in a safe and enjoyable environment.
We would like to thank everyone who supported the fundraiser and look forward to seeing the continued growth of the programme throughout the year.
